Rambling down the backroads of the Tidewater region from Williamsburg to Virginia Beach.

Welcome to the club....

Welcome to the official website for the Colonial Virginia Model T Club.  We are a group of T enthusiasts in the Tidewater region of Virginia, and excited to be getting this group into high gear!  We're finding other collectors in the area and gaining new members all the time.  Our charter with the Model T Ford Club International (MTFCI) became official in October of 2017, and with the Model T Ford Club of America (MTFCA) in November of 2021.  We've made several appearances at parades and events, and have folks asking for us to join them in several others upcoming.  We have participated in some Tours in VA and NC, as well as some local shows.  If you're in our neck of the woods, and you get a thrill out of anything with four spoked wheels and a crank, then we want to meet you! Check out the rest of our website and give us a shout. We'll have meetings every few months or so, enjoy lively social events, and share some productive garage time as well.  Don't worry, we'll let you know what we're up to, as soon as we know!!  Looking forward to riding with ya!

The man and the mind behind the model t...

The Ford Model T was produced by the Ford Motor Company from October 1, 1908, to May 26, 1927. It is generally regarded as the first affordable automobile, the car that opened travel to the common middle-class American.  Some of this was because of Ford's efficient fabrication, including assembly line production instead of individual hand crafting.  Want to know more about Henry Ford, his life, and how he changed the world?  Just click on the picture of Henry and his T.
